Herb Brooks

Herb Brooks is known to many as an American hockey legend. He is regarded as the hero of the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid who lead a hand picked team of collegiate athletes to victory against a seemingly unbeatable squad of Soviet hockey gods during a time of great tension between the USSR and the rest of the world.

Brooks left a great legacy, not only as a hockey coach, but a player, family man, and hometown hero.
